Even though we’re still stuck in January, city officials are looking ahead to the summer mowing season. At last night’s meeting, Mayor Joe Judge opened four bids to mow the city owned cemeteries. The bids ranged from a low of $18,100 to a high of $30,000. Mayor Joe Judge said the bids will be taken under advisement to make sure they meet the parameters laid out in the bid specs and the council will award the bid at their next meeting in two weeks.
