There are still 291 parcels of real estate where 2017 taxes have not been paid. Treasurer Beverly McBride said certified letters have already gone out, and taxpayers have until January 19th to pay up and not have their names published in the newspaper. McBride said a tax sale is planned for February 16th. The outstanding parcels amount to $189,000 in taxes.
