On 12/06/17 at 3:19pm Mt. Carmel Police arrested 24 year old Mt. Carmel resident Dakota S. Wheeler for Criminal Damage to Property following an investigation into damage to a white Ford Flex while parked at Mt. Carmel Elementary School. After observing video surveillance footage from the school a complaint was signed against Wheeler. Wheeler is accused of throwing a brick against the Ford Flex causing damage. Wheeler was located at a residence in the 1000 block of Chestnut Street and placed under arrest. Wheeler is being held at the Wabash County Jail pending bond setting by a judge.
